Winter Farming
Join us for a new maple sugaring program designed for families. It will include children of all ages and involve parents. The program is a two hour program with two stations. The first station will be at the sugar shack in which families learn all about the history of maple sugaring, why sap runs, identifying sugar maples, how to tap a tree and learn about how we make maple syrup at Ambler. The second station will be in our main building and involve making corn muffins, learning about the history of the ingredients, taste testing maple syrups and adding Ambler Farm maple syrup to the muffins for sampling. The families will receive all instructions and then have their own cooking station to make the muffins.
Cost of this program is $35 for the whole family. That's all!
This program is not a drop off program.
